Our investors’ panel will include Alex Biliris, a member of New York Angels. 
Alex is an advisor and seed investor in early-stage technology and technology-enabled startups across emerging industries. His expertise is in data management and related areas as a researcher, software architect, entrepreneur, and investor. He is Managing Partner at Branchout Ventures, an Angel Investor with New York Angels, and Adjunct Professor of computer science at Columbia University.
Alex will join John Ason and Jerry Crighton in an informative panel discussion providing you with a chance to hear about their interests and ask them questions relevant to your project. Listen to their success stories and learn strategies to grow your company.
Our keynote speaker, Mark Entwistle will field questions about his past experiences as the Canadian ambassador to Cuba, Canadian attaché to Israel and the USSR, and his work now with Cuba-based projects through Acasta Capital.
Having spent 24 years involved in Cuban affairs, he is one of the world’s leading experts on Cuba. 
Mark ran a private specialist consultancy in strategic business development in Cuba for 15 years as President of Chibas Consulting Inc., before incorporating that practice within Acasta Capital in 2013, in which he is a Founding Partner. 
He is also currently Canadian Managing Partner of Atlantic Advisory Partners, a joint partnership between Acasta Capital and Spitzberg Partners LLC to provide business counsel to Canadian and European companies to enable them to take full advantage respectively of coming free trade between the European Union and Canada.
